About Our School
Conveniently located on Springfield’s west side in a quiet,
residential neighborhood since 1987, The Montessori
Schoolhouse offers a 12 week summer program. The program
includes daily Montessori classes for children ages 3 to 12.
After the conclusion of morning classes utilizing our
Montessori curriculum, the children are involved in a myriad of
activities. These activities include swimming classes, art
activities, gardening, foreign language instruction (Spanish &
Japanese), and other supervised outdoor activities.
Enrollment is currently open, but space is limited. The
Montessori Schoolhouse is open daily from 7:30am to 5:
30pm. We are also currently accepting enrollment for our fall
semester. Detailed information and/or the scheduling of a tour
of our beautiful environment can be obtained by contacting us
at 217.787.5505. The Montessori Schoolhouse is a full
member of The American Montessori Society. Come see how
children educated using the Montessori method grow into
competent, self-confident learners who love learning for a
lifetime.
